The Quad L-ite subwoofer is itself derived from another ‘best-in-class’: the remarkable Quad L-subwoofer. Identical in every way, except 5/6 the size, and with a 10” rather than 12” driver, the L-ite subwoofer is compact - yet packs a powerful punch.

The microprocessor controls the switching between six discrete analogue bass filter stages, adjustable in 10Hz steps between 35 and 85Hz. Phase and volume can also be adjusted, and up to four groups of settings can be stored in memory and recalled at the press of a button. This is especially useful, allowing the user to have different settings for different types of programme material, or between movies and music, or even different settings for nightime and daytime use.

Furthermore, all settings can be adjusted from the actual listening position with the fully-featured remote control supplied.
