timer for alarm or unattended recording. The CD Player is a high
performance design using Denon's multi-bit technology, Burr Brown
DACS and more. The power amp uses audiophile grade capacitors for

The Denon SC-M53 is a brand-new design from one of Europe's most respected
speaker design teams, extensively benchmarked in the UK to match the
Denon electronics and then built by Denon.
This purpose-built two-way design, features a rear-ported, high excursion
WOK style' pistonic woofer (laminated diaphragm unique at this price)
and a high-quality soft dome tweeter. Inverted Drive Unit Geometry
places the woofer above the tweeter, for optimum vertical dispersion
and smooth phase and frequency response. Supplied foam damping plugs
tune the bass for
shelf or stand mounting.
